The club is please to see that our young players (U18s team players) are getting the chance to play senior football at the club. Mark Pullings philosophy is being put in place. Pullings believes if you are good enough you are old enough. This was evident on Saturdays 2 -0 win over Storrington FC. Callum Hames, Charlie Tuck & Callum Crayton all played in the game. Tuck got a full 90 minutes and Hammes and Crayton came on in the second half. All players held their own and Pulling will be looking to build on this.
By using good young home grown players instead of looking further afield is the project that Pullings is trying to implement. This means any young player that has talent and dedication can make it to the senior side and beyond.
This is great news for those club players coming through the age groups from U15’s upwards, its a good time to be at Shoreham FC as a youngster.
