Shoreham FC Youth returned to small sided training sessions this weekend. After preforming its risk assessments for each team and the training environment and each parent providing consent for their child to train, its was a great experience to see our young players back on the pitch.
As a club we believe that the safety of our young players and coaches is more important than rushing back to football. Hence the precautions we have taken in order to adhere to FA and Government guidelines.
Here are some of our images of this weekends sessions, outlining our processes in order to get the youth back in training-
We have made sure we have invested in the appropriate equipment in order to be as safe as possible. Every coach was provided with hand sanitiser and their temperature checked prior to any training sessions going ahead:
Contactless temperature equipment and hand sanitiser
Our training sessions were not crowded with small groups and regular sessions through out the day made it safe for all our coaches and players. A big thanks to all parents, players and coaches for adhering to all the guidelines.
If you feel that a coach, club or academy is risking social distancing please contact the Sussex FA with your concerns.
